The embedded crystal in the Isolde is created by milling little pockets in the brass and popping mirror-backed crystal into them (mirror-backing allows the crystal to glitter even though lights is not projecting all the way through). Silver leaf accents and red silk shades complete the ensemble. With the bejeweled accents, these pieces are reminiscent of regal antiquity. The crystal is from Austria. Each framburg lighting fixture is hand made in America.
