The lions are cast in solid brass from molds that we designed, and exude the qualities that this famous symbol is known for—valor, royalty, wisdom, and protector of the realm. The width of the lanterns is slightly expanded to complement the lion's weight and power. The glass is distressed to give an Old World feel and refract the bulb filament. All of the metal components are solid brass. All framburg lighting products are made in the U.S.A
