These pieces are wonderfully constructed of all brass components and the old world Siena Bronze and Iron finishes, along with Raw Copper, will hold up in any outdoor environment. The gargoyle was originally a pagan symbol that was co-opted by Catholicism and is endowed with the unique ability to frighten away evil spirits. These gargoyles are cast in solid brass from molds we designed. All framburg lighting fixtures are hand made in the U.S.A
